Okay, that’s not really true, but it should be. Our famous Kölsch is our top-selling craft draught, and for good reason. Or should we say, reasons.

It’s light, crisp, clean, easy-drinking, and lager-like. Ours is brewed in a similar fashion to the authentic method from Cologne, Germany but done the Shackleton Way. When you crack open your fresh Kölsch and have your first sip, don’t be alarmed if you hear yourself mutter…’Scheisse, das ist gut!’.

Appearance | Brilliant clear gold to light gold appearance.

Aroma | Low malt aroma, slight sweet grain character. Very clean and fresh aroma.

Flavour | Low to medium bitterness, refreshing but moderate spicy hop presence.
